Dr. Amelia Serine

Dr. Serine (Dr. Mia to her young clients) is a licensed psychologist and Director of Child and Adolescent Services at AOTC. With a doctorate in clinical psychology from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, she specializes in the evidence-based treatment of children, adolescents, and adults experiencing OCD, anxiety disorders, ADHD, and related conditions. She incorporates family- and couples-based interventions into treatment to strengthen clients' support systems and improve outcomes.

She also serves on the Board of OCD Delaware, the Delaware affiliate of the International OCD Foundation. This is a non-profit advocacy organization responsible for providing support and resources for individuals and their family members living with OCD.

Dr. Serine is passionate about helping people with anxiety and their families live happier, healthier lives. She provides direct client care and also supervises students, presents on evidence-based practices, and engages in advocacy efforts. Outside of work, she enjoys making pottery, reading, and spending time with her dogs.
